can dead technology produce flowers?

i get through laptops
like cars:

cheap, acquired secondhand,
routes to places known
and unknown.

both tend to die
when i least expect it.

i’ve long since given up
being stranded by roadsides.
cars are too much trouble.
legs, generally
don’t break down.

these laptops, seem to break
every 17 months, or so,
leaving me hanging
