Distance

The distance between us feels like a galaxy. 
I look at the moon and know it's the same moon that you set your hazel eyes upon. 
Knowing we are under the same sky makes me feel closer to you. 
Although not close enough to dull the ache in my heart. 
I ache for you to hold me, to kiss my forehead and tell me you love me.
I ache to be near you, to wake up to your sleepy voice and cheeky grin. 
All I want, all I need and all I could ever wish for is to be yours for as long as you will have me.
