Is Everyone a critic&;#063;

Do my words offend you, in any way?
Are they bright?
What do they say?
Is the rhythm in my line, insufficient?
Does my fluency flow
Do my pentameters glow?
Have I yet masterd, the tonally proficient?
If a stanza fell from the sky
And hit me in the eye
Would I be any wiser
I think not!
If my consonantal is relaxant
Does it give me better accent?
Would stressing my syllables
Make me hot?
Am I on my own in this, is there something that I miss
Something that the critics, only see?
I don't break it into pieces, appreciating thesis
It's the passion, in others words that touches me!
I don't comment on peoples prose, I tend not to impose
I prefer to read, than to wreak
It's not that I don't care
About poets rhyming and their flair
The most important thing to me
Is they're unique
It's the passion in their words
There own ability, that stirs
Just the reason why, they should be left
If just one critic etch's their vein
Everyone would sound the same
And of individuality, we'd be bereft
A recipes, for food
And if our lines are crude
Sometimes that's part of there appeal
Some poets write inspired by fear
Their words, openly sincere
Others write with, empathy and zeal
A tribute penned, to someone they admire
With sentiment and fire!
A sonnet, to those that they love
Then a critic, comes their way
And displaces what they say
A cold analysis, with all of the 'above!'
Even the greats, they pull apart
Dissecting their art
Who knows, maybe they're right?
Most of the great and good have gone
And although their work lives on
There's no one to give a personal requite
Maybe from the start
They structured their art?
Assembling it for others to disfigure
On the other hand, I'd denote
Maybe they just wrote
Impassioned, in the subject and its vigour
Perhaps their verse just flew
Unconsciously true
Their formula, driven from within?
Admiration of a poet's way
For me comes down to them, being simply they
Exclusive in their words, because there true
Perhaps I should embrace politic
Criticising critic
But I believe everyone's verse should have its day
Not based on their ability
To master prose agility
But simply that, they have something to say!
