Stun gun Adam

Adam is a 19 year old boy from Burnley. We met him in a Savannah
youth hostel kitchen, East Coast USA. Dave and I were enjoying another
plate of avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, corn chips and hummus from our
cooler - he was eating microwaved chicken and chips in the shape of
smiley faces. Adam is traveling by greyhound around the US and Canada.
At a hostel in Miami he had sat watching tv with a male member of staff
who was making comments on the men's arses on the screen. Adam, seeing
this as a lark joined in. It was only later when he had agreed to go
into the man's room for a beer and was told to take off his jacket and
then his shoes to get more comfortable that he realised his mistake.
Adam carries a stun gun in his jacket pocket in case he gets mugged. He
wants to be a war correspondent when he leaves college. I really hope
he lives to tell those tales.
