Seen In A Parking Travesty

A misty wind is bringing in a cold snap on top of a cold snap.
In the Supercenter parking travesty, I parked away from the bustle, but coming back, I find a large cargo van beside my car. Nearly a bus. Clean and orderly. Very long.
It's parked through two spaces, but it's not too wide to keep me from the passenger side of my car.
Probably people just swinging through from the highway nearby. They had to park somewhere.
As I roll my cart up, I see a large boxer dog looking through the van's side window.
Will he freak out as I load my car right beside him? No. He's practically smiling.
I chuck my bags figuratively into the car, and he's mellow, I'm mellow, ev-ery-bod-y's mellow, including the dog's friend, there beside him, lying on the roomy dashboard, peering through the windshield.
A demonstrably bored orange tabby.

Gosh! They must be really,
Gosh! They must be really, REALLY chill, a dog and a cat left alone in a small space! What would Tom and Jerry have had to say?
