It's a cat's garden
I was a little flower, dancing in the breeze
Until a big fat cat pissed upon my leaves
He waddled off as proud as punch
To find a juicy bird for lunch.
I was a humble stalk, of green broccoli
Until a cat appeared from the rockery
He scraped and pulled at my roots
Will I ever grow new shoots?
I was a little bird, munching on some bread
Until a hungry cat appeared behind the shed
I wriggled and chirped to no avail
As he gobbled me up beak to tail.
Once I was a kitten, now a full-grown cat
I wouldn't say I'm skinny but certainly not fat
Don' t blame me for my DNA
It's your fault if you're in my way.

Cat's rule, ok? Fine poetic

Cat's rule, ok? Fine poetic expression of the niceties of feline foibles.
