No Bones

I will speak frankly
and make no bones
that on Halloween
I avoid certain zones.
I feel disinclined
to visit a graveyard
as unexpected ghosts
may catch me off guard.
I'm told it's well-known
that spirits will grieve
at the midnight hour
of a moonlit Hallow's Eve.
Nothing is more unnerving
than to see an apparition
who moans and writhes,
shedding tears of contrition.
But if the truth be told,
I admit that I never have
witnessed a penitent soul
rising from its grave.
So, perhaps, we ought
to make a distinction,
between myth and legend,
reality and fiction.

stupid idea
Halloween does sound a stupid idea to me. We don't do it here only once they poisoned our dogs but they survived.
Luigi was it supposed to be something like a "witches sabath"? You can't venture out here at night anyway it's already too dangerous. Never mind for kids.
