Smelling the Coffee

My voice is not good;
I can't sing for toffee
but as I've hyperosmia
I can smell the coffee.

I wake up to the sound
of a bubbling Moka pot
that emits a sweet scent
which really hits the spot.

The flavoursome aroma 
of roasted arabica beans
enhances my wellbeing
and it is part of my genes.

So let's enjoy an espresso
or a cappuccino instead
if a black coffee is potent
and overexcites the head.
