I remember when the tennis player went to jail here in England, it seemed SO odd, that such a famous man should go to jail, as it seems famous people don’t usually go to jail. He did his time in jail and came out.

I don’t watch the news, but this morning an alert came on my phone to watch the video of the ex-president of France on his way to jail to start his five-year sentence!

Because I don’t follow, the news or French politics, I was shocked!

Because I don’t know anything about him, I have no hate towards him. I watched the video of him with his Wife, and his supporters.

It all seemed unreal to me, for at first, I thought it was a hoax or AI when the notification, came up on my phone, I thought it must me a joke, and if it was April the first, then I would have known it was not real.

Five years is a long time, when you are 70 years old. I couldn’t imagine any of our ex-prime ministers, going to jail. x
