People are at different stages of their lives. Some have just started their dream job, others have tried for a child through IVF and have just been successful, others have just gotten of out an abusive relationship, others have just been told they are now cancer free……………
I don’t know where they were all going, but they were going somewhere, that was important to them. With them would have been Mum, Dad, Grandad, Grandma, Aunt, Uncle, Neice, Nephew, Baby, Dog…………….
Some would have had headphones on, while using their laptops, tablets, mobile phones.
Some would have been asleep, and the last thing they would have expected was to be stabbed!
The two men, were they sitting next to each other, or was one at one end of the room and one at the other?
Who would have been able to alert the driver? Was it by pulling the emergency stop?
Everything would have happened SO fast! Sitting down in a chair with a table in front of them, they would have been at a disadvantage.
My son has a black belt in martial arts, but sitting would not have helped, even for those who regularly go to the gym and do weightlifting.
Yesterday we heard that TEN people have life threatening stab wounds, that is attempted murder! I am sure, their aim was to K I L L!!!!!!
There is no where to run on a train, too many people, it might have even been standing room only, in parts.
One thing is sure, none of them would have been ready, for the attack!! All were relaxed and caught off guard. Today would be different on the train, some might even have cancelled their journey! Everyone today would be alert. Yet another nice thing ruined!
At the emergency stop at the station, armed police were there, if it was safe, they should have shoot to kill!!! Instead, they will have a few soft years in jail!
Nothing has come up on my phone today, but I wish all those who were stabbed, a speedy recovery. x

At school I used to
At school I used to sleep next to my dad, we were in different rooms but with only a brick wall between us. He was drunk every night but he didn't drive he was scared of being caught or making an accident you can end up in jail for quite a while as for manslaughter even murder.
He was sometimes abusive verbally, occasionally violent he had a temper. Still, I loved him.
I managed to sober up it's been 25 years believe it or not - Tom
