When Daniel was young, I understood him well enough when he wanted more information. My reply was, “All you need to know is, they are the best football team in the World!” I didn’t want his young mind corrupting, for they are tender at that young age. It worked, he still supports them, as do Meghan and Daruis our grandson.

Today I may not be classed as a true supporter, but having raised three mini supporters, my work is done!

I could not tell you now, ONE single player or the names of the many managers they have had over the decade or so. I also Never watch any of the matches on the telly, it is just too painful! So, maybe I may not be classed as a supporter, but I DO always want them to win, whenever I know that they are playing.

The latest manager has just been sacked, I could not tell you his name, and if I were shown his face, would not know it from Adam!
