It is strange how you get to know and love somethings.
I loved him in Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and a Little Lady.
Now he is older and I think in his best role to date.
I remember flicking through the channels on the telly at work, and flicked past The Big Bang Theory, and the co-worker told me, “That is good, it is funny,” I had never heard of it, but thought it was about something else. I watched it and loved it a lot and Jim Parsons became one of my favourite actors of all time!!! He still is, and one day, I would love to meet him, I know that is Very unlikely, but I can dream.
I don’t know when I started watching this new programme, I know it was this year, but WOW, it is for me the Best thing on telly right now. Once it starts, I have to watch how it ends.
I love everything about it, and as I got to know the characters, then I got to love it SO much!
It is about a family, all different, and just like some families they might disagree, but blood is thicker than water, and usually by the end of the day, they have made up.
I love all of the story lines, they are hard hitting and realistic, warm, and tender, it gets me just here.
I love the honesty of the family members and how they deal with the difficult things in life, their own and others that they meet.
I love the beginning, middle and especially the end, for me that is the best bit.
Nowadays, generations of families, don’t sit down together for dinner, people they are scattered in different parts of the country and the world.
Because of that, there is no sharing of feelings and thoughts about things that have happened throughout the day, no one to give an account to, or off-load. No points of view of the older family members or the younger ones. For it is good, to get different perspectives, that gives information of a more balanced life.
There are no phones at the table, in this family that is portrayed, no missing family, they don’t eat, until they are all there, at the table. It might seem like a fiction now, for now that we have a 24-hour working life, it is not possible to always eat together. We don’t have a table, we only use the table on Christ mas day, when we are all home and off. Otherwise, we are all working at different times of the day and night, and pass like ships in the night. Hence, we have to leave notes on the kitchen table or leave each other texts.
For me, the build up to the ending, is when the family is seated at the table, all of them, and before they start to eat, one of them must say a short prayer. Then the conversations start, but sometimes it starts before the Prayer. I love this bit, for sometimes the prayer or conversation is hard, but so is life!
I love the head of the family, I love the kids, I love the older member, I love the wives, I love the sons!
Just like when I started to watch, The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons very quickly became my favourite, then very quickly my favourite became Will Estes! He is fabulous.
I give Blue Bloods, 10 out of 10, NO, 20 out of 10.
I Love it! x

I've heard of the show, Blue
I've heard of the show, Blue Bloods, but neve seen an episode. Not a big tv watcher. Haven't turned on my tv in about a month. But I support the Blue and I guess watching a tv show about them is a kind of support. LEO all day.
