A Plea for Peace

I know human life is sacred, you think I'm really that dumb?

I didn't want to kill a kid

It hurt like hell... 

It wasn't "fun"

And while we're on the topic, I get I'm not forgiven

Every fetus has a heartbeat. 

I know,

It feels

It's living

You think I love the pain I deal with every waking day? 

I know what I did was selfish, but I did it anyway -

And if you "pro-life" people had won this senseless war - I'd still "choose" a coathanger, and end up bloody on the floor. 

Listen, no one's celebrating, and no one thinks its right, but when given the choice of clinic or street, I'd hope you'd still choose life.
