 Life's real hard here on Badgery Road, . 
no one lives by any moral code ,
they open your mail box and life’s so unreal 
they'd nail you to Bungaree Road .

There’s a girl on the road with me  
and I said to one day Charity , 
Fancy a kiss but she just swung her fist 
at the bottom of Badgery .

Well there must be a way to live on this road
and find that stream of harmony 
but its so far away from Badgery Road , 
its too far for me to see .

It's so noisy on Badgery road ,
my heads just about to explode .
the phones on the blink
and I can't get a drink .
Not even one for the road .
