Its so dark these days with me,

my eyes can no longer see .

I’ve got my best friend beside me

to help and to guide me

and I’ve learnt to trust her completely .

Don’t walk in the dark alone ,

come on and I’ll take you home.

Just follow me because I can see

and you’ll never walk alone  .

A blind man’s friend on dead end street

won’t ever lead you astray .

Its always night on the streets outside

but that’s ok when you’ve got a  friend

who can guide the way .

Yes I’ll always walk beside you.

You’re a friend who eyes can see through

all of the darkness that closes in on me ,

it just disappears when I’m walking with you  .
