Carried Away In Love

I am standing here in silence

deeply thinking of ,

you and I and how honored I am to be in love ..

It's in a comforting kiss or a kind word or two ,

that can make all the difference

in the world , it's true .

Sometime we go through life

taking for granted so much ,

without appreciating those moments

when we touch .

I don't know why we do the things

and then say we don't .

Maybe if we try a little harder

then we won't ,

make all those silly mistakes

we've always done before and,

 we could find our way to do just a little more .

It's too late for the sunrise

at the end of the day

when the sun sets on our love

to carry us away.

There is a light at the start of every new day .

There is always a chance .

Maybe love will find a way .

If horizons are always dark

where we don't belong 

we must open up our eyes

to see what's right and wrong .

We must open up our hearts

to welcome in real love .

We must open our understanding

to be part of the universal spirit

of one love that is good .

We can have a perfect love

in the way that we should  .

We could do many things

that we've never done before .

We could be lifted up by love

and carried away .

I am open to love in silence everyday
