Cooking The Blues

Take this heartache and bitterness

and all the grudges and the stress

then screw down the lid of the pressure pot .

Break the hardness inside  me , soften my heart so I can see ,

all of the goodness in life that I forgot .

Take the sadness and all the tears

with the troubles through all  the years,

once its done then I’ll start cooking the blues.

Cooking the blues,

cooking the blues,

everything’s steaming from the top

It’s a pressure pot here cooking the blues  .
