Empty Promises

Its better to wiggle and to giggle if you can

when you’re stuck in the middle of a hole ,

If I promise not to tell you ,

would you tell me not to promise ,

with of all my heart and soul

Just in case I might have to ever say farewell .

and you might not ever start to understand

people make promises spoken in a hurry ,

and their promises are broken in demand .

Never worry I promise not to promise you

anything that a promise can’t live up to

in this life that we live , with everything we take and give

there are somethings we just shouldn’t do .
