From a rooftop in Manila

I can see the city lights

and in my memory I can see

it’s just one of these nights .
When the sky is disappearing

and there’s magic in the air

then you can feel the summer breeze

blowing softly through your hair

and you know it’s the time to capture

a moment to yourself ,
as you escape to a rooftop

and you think you’re somewhere else .,
