The Fairy By The Lake
By Paul McCann
There once was a fairy who lived near the lake
who put a sugar lump inside a cup cake.
Then she sprinkled some fairy dust on the top
and brought it to the lake where no people stopped .
She fed the geese and ducks there who quacked so sweet
which attracted many visitors from the street .
The children laughed and watched the ducks waddling .
as the geese gaggled and started paddling
The fairy in her treehouse was now at peace
To see people visiting the ducks and geese .
