Goodbye is a bird in the blue sky

and I don’t what to leave my love behind  ,

what can I say everyday she’s on my mind

Its always cloudy when the sun is far away ,

and I’m still here waiting for the day

when I’ll be in your  loving arms again .

Its an endless night that will never see  the day

and my heart is breaking cause you’re so far away

and I look at the moon and I whisper out your  name .

Sometimes when I’m lonely I need your love

but I’m so down I cannot rise above

and the sky keeps weeping down with rain

and it’s the same old sky that seems to drift on by ,

blinded by the tears in my eye

and I  cry cry  just for the day to see your face

deep inside is a space called emptiness

and the bird in a blue sky is featherless

the rest is history ,

it will never be the same

.

Goodbye my sweet bird ,
