Harry Found A Hero

Harry went to sea and sent home the money

to his Mammy that he loved with all his heart .

On the boats he learnt the ropes and built up all his hopes

in the sunrise  as every new day would  start

 He returned upon tide on the day his Mother died

and shed tears that fell like lead from both his eyes ,

he never went to sea again and lived alone until she came , ‘

it was Mary Ann of the bright morning sunrise

He dreamt of happiness and finding success

at home in the place he loved the best

Harry found a hero in his heart

and from that day , he made a brand new start ,

he had a dream no one could see of a wife a family

and he would never again be the  sailor who goes to sea  .

After 15 years has passed Mary’s life had ended fast

and Harrys Taxi was Hijacked in Belfast

and with a gun put to his head , Harry had been shot dead

by some cold killers in the City of Belfast

He dreamt of happiness and finding success

at home in the place he loved the best
