Hurleys The Life For Me

I’ll stick with a hurley bat before I grow too old ,

see I’m too fast for playing golf and football leaves me cold ,

 just put me on a field of green or a dusty gravel pit ,

I’m one for the hurley boys

while I’m still young and fit .

Hurley O , Hurley O,

it’s the life for me

I hope to keep on Hurling

Til I’ve lost my mobility

I’d rather be a hurling than any game today ,

I don’t mind the bumps and thumps ,

 its part of the game we play ,

all of us keep playing for the love of it you see ,

we’re part of the GAA

and we play all day for free

 .
