The Lights Of Sydney -
by Paul McCann
It’s vivid in the City where the people have all gone ,
cruising around Sydney harbour and the lights are turned on .
Anchored to a dream where laser beams scream to the future .
The City is pretty and night life rages everywhere .
Looking at The Rocks thinking ,
where have all the tall ships gone .
The convicts have shot through.
It’s over 200 years on .
I’m standing here by the wharf ,
and the rain is falling down .
It’s the 21st Century .
We’re here in Sydney town .
