Lost In Cyberspace

If ever you come home and the TV’s on

and you’re wondering where on earth that I’ve gone ,

I’m sucked into cyberspace playing a game

far from the reality of life again .

If ever you come home and there’s no one there

Except for my laptop sitting on the chair ,

I’m probably lost somewhere in cyberspace

playing some game in a secret time and place .

If you should return and there’s no sign of me

and there’s an indent mark where I used to be,

I’m not that far away , just let me explain ,

I’ve disappeared for a while inside a game .

If you return and you’re wondering where I am

There’s something I must tell you.

Please understand ,

I’m in another world , just give me some time’

For I’m locked up in a game ,

Somewhere online .
