Once when life was hanging on by a strand

the hands of time held it all together

and love had  captured something divine

in a golden moment that will always shine .

Walking in the footsteps of another on a journey through life

that someone had taken once before to show us the way

to go in a golden moment of time .

We stitched up all of our memories with the gentle hands of  love

and the golden threads of time became the golden moments

that we found on this journey of a lifetime

Moments when we loved and laughed as we discovered

the treasures of life that made it all worthwhile
