Magnificent Milly And Her Magic Tricycle

Chapter Nine

A Life Without Pain

Milly was riding her magic tricycle down the garden path when she came to her front gate it opened by itself . On the other side of the gate she saw a secret path that went into a beautiful garden , where fairies were flying around throwing magic seeds that burst into colourful blossoms hanging from trees that were also home for fluffy little scruffy teddy bears that jumped from branch to branch whistling funny little tunes.
Milly rode her tricycle into the garden and was welcomed by a small group of ants wearing baggy pants and woollen hats
riding skateboards .
The ants formed a circle around Milly and gave her a song and dance with music being played by
fairy folk who came flying through the air with banks and fiddles in their arms .
Their welcoming song was enchanted delight and made her feel happier than she had ever felt before . Then as they finished singing and dancing, they all left through an unseen portal that appeared , she too made her way through the portal a rainbow
came spinning down from the sky and spread itself like a carpet in front of her . In a dreamlike her tricycle started to float and with her feet off the ground she took flight through the beautiful colours of the cosmos until she was returned back through the portal to the front path of her home where she heard the talking pebbles bleeping and calling out to her .
She went inside the house and sat down beside the jar .

The pebbles asked .
“We thought you deserved a vacation because you’ve been working so hard , Well , did you like the special getaway we arranged for you ?”

Milly replied .

“Oh wow . It was amazing . I was never as happy in my life and I went to a place far out in space .“
The Pebbles answered ,
“That’s where we come from .“
Milly said
“ How did you manage do all that for me ?”
“We shifted the boundary plates in interstellar anti matter energy that transferred a distorted wave through the cosmos opening a the dimensional gap between worlds that allows you to pass through a portal into a parallel universe “
“ Said the magic pebbles and Milly responded .
“ Just like opening a door “
“ Well yes , that’s a nice way of understanding it “
Milly replied
“Thanks for the holiday . “
“”Back to reality now . We have a mission for you . We need to help a young girl who suffers everyday with an unknown condition . She is the first person to have a destructive chemical in her bloodstream that builds
high pressure on her brain which is extremely painful . You are the only one who can assist her . There is no medication yet that can treat her condition or stop the pain .“
“ How awful . Is she ever going to get better ?”
Milly asked .
“After your visit , the gift you share will remove the pressure around her brain and restore her to full health.
“ Your tricycle is programmed for your journey to the emergency waiting room at the hospital . She will be the only one in the waiting room when you arrive . She will be in severe pain when you arrive but that will soon come to an end after you arrive , Go now “
Milly left and got on her tricycle and made her way down the path to the rainbow road that transported her to the front door of the emergency department at a hospital . Milly walked inside the editing room and saw a girl in tears lying on the floor in a foetal position . There was no one on duty attention so immediately Milly went to the young girl and held her hand . Immediately her crying stopped . She sat up looked up at looked at Milly and started laughing . In between her laughs and giggles, she gave her a big hug and said
“How great , all the pain has gone . I feel like I’m cured. “
Milly looked at her and smiled saying .
“You’re better now , live your life without any more pain .“
The little girl burst out in fits of laughter . She couldn’t control herself and gave Milly a big hug . Then Milly left the waiting room and walked outside where a colourful blur of lights formed a pattern in the sky
Inside the waiting room a bright white light surrounded the girl who was still laughing .
Milly got into her tricycle the blur of colours cascaded down on the tricycle and right then Milly and her tricycle were gone .
