Why do they have to point their guns,

Don’t they know bullets kill someone’s

Little sons or daughter’s and their Dads and Mums’

Maybe it makes make’s them feel as if they’re someone .

Life on the margin line

Everybody’s looking for a break

We’ve got to learn to give and take

For heaven’s sake , reach out and be a friend

Come on shake hands down at the margin line .

Maybe they’ll see the light of day .

Maybe they’ll throw their guns away .

No more fingers on the trigger

With a message to deliver ..

We’ve got to find an answer here today .

Life on the margin line

Everybody’s looking for a break

We’ve got to learn to give and take

There’s no barricades we have to burn

On this troubled road , lets take a turn

Fix things up they’re gone too far .

Since we’ve been mixed up in this war .

We’ve got to fight for who we are .
