Mother of The Church

Mother of the church ,
we’re baptized in our belief .
May this become the strength
to help in our grief .

Mother of the church ,
shelter of the homeless poor .
In this world you provide
a place to feel secure .

Mother of the church ,
in our lives you are involved .
With intercessions and prayers ,
our sins are absolved .

Mother of the church we are universally ,
connected to God ,
we are all one family .

Mother of the church ,
in good faith we hold our own .
This world is your footstool
and heaven is your home .

Mother of the church
how compassionate you are ,
Grant us each sacrament before our final hour .

Mother of the church
when ever the end is near ,
May we hear angels voices singing in our ear .
