My Guardian Angel Song

The Guardian Angel Song

I walked along a road that saw the dusk turn into dawn,
I wondered how much further would I have to travel on .
My blistered feet where telling me to carry on be strong
I got down on my knees and sang my Guardian Angel song.

For as weak  upon my feet and could not carry on.

That’s when I met a man who said his name was Brother John .

Suddenly the pain in both my blistered feet had gone

see Brother John had only one leg to stand upon

he told me of a place where sll our pain can hurt no more

I asked him where it was and he said it’s much closer than before.

My arms were tired and weary he said steady on be strong
so I started singing my Guardian Angel song.

I said goodbye to John and walked further down the road

where I met a man  who asked can I take your heavy load

Angel dear stand by me here protect me from all harm’

 Then man who stood before me had only got one arm ,

he said all those things you’re carrying you don’t need anymore

you’ll find your steps  will be easier than the ones you took an before .

My eyes were tired and sleepy and I found it hard to see

Then I saw a blind man on the road in front of me

I tried not to listen as he told me of his fear

Then I met a deaf man who told me he couldn’t hear .

Angel dear , Angel dear help me along the way

The Kingdom of heaven is getting closer everyday

Hey Brother can you tell me is it very far away

Its seems that I’ve been walking an eternity today

I know that Jesus loves me and he helps all those who pray

So I’ll pray for those who cannot see and those who’ve lost their way

I’ll pray for those who cannot talk and cannot walk or hear

In return please pray for me my Guardian angel dear .
