My Musical Tribe

Friends and songwriters and some musicians that I knew.

had a passion to make music the same as I do,      

Robert was a songwriter and a good friend of mine

He shared some guitar with me till he ran out of time. 

Johno was a pro there with some big bands he was in 

My head was in a spin back then, when I lived with him.

Chris and I collaborated and wrote a few songs.

We tried to sort things out but could never write the wrongs.

Jilly was a busker that I met along the way.

He always had a song and a friendly thing to say.

Brian was a superstar that I met after his fall.

He shared a lot about life, the big things and the small.

Dan and Adam helped me to record a thing or two,

Yeah, sometimes something magic happens in what we do.

It’s a passion or a feeling that’s hard to describe.

But it’s all part of the click with my musical tribe.  

There are many I bumped into and others I knew.

who loved to make music in this life we’re going through.

As life goes on I’ve found the trends of music can change

but the friends I have with passion always stays the same .
