Not Far Away

So there was I in a terrible place ,

calling out for help everyday ,

but something told me it would be ok

because God was not far away .

Even though you think you’re alone

and abandoned there in the place you are ,

God is closer to you that you would ever think  

He right there , not so far .

Light is hard to find within the

dark night of the soul but you’re not alone

God will always find way ,

to be there ,

forever he will make it known

He is not far away

He will always be there in all your hardest times .

When you cry those tears and feel those fears

Through all those years

He will send you signs .

He will remove everything in your way

and you’ll see He’s not far away

in all the places you go

with the people you know

in your life each day .
