I reach out to you

cause I know that you care

but what would I do

if you were not there ?

I’d just close my eyes and imagine you were

still in my arms like we’re  together .

There by my side

and not far away ,

your hand in my hand

it  will always stay  ,

as time passes by

I would reach out to you

and find you’re there in all that I do .

if you were not there

at the end of the day ,

I’d speak to you

and you’d hear what I say 

and when the blue sky turns into shades of grey

the colour of love would brighten my way .

Just because I can’t see you

doesn’t mean you’re gone

because every time that I  reach out to you

our love lives on and on .

I’ve found you there

in my heart and mind

and even beyond the measure of time

to where love is new

and forever lives on

long  after those you love have all gone .
