Shadow People Of The X-Ray World

The Shadow people walked together along the river that lay still . The sun hung in a cloudless sky and penetrated the morning chill . 
In the X-Ray world shadows are free to wander between here and there looking for answers to  their questions , in the open spaces somewhere .

Shadows of winter fall down around the  silence of another day  and the  black and white images of life are in search of a  new grey The touch of a  sleight hand that takes away the mystery to unfold There is no more to say , the shadow people have already been told .

They follow those frozen footsteps towards home . Tears dropped where once they trod as they saw pictures of love x-rayed by a momentary act of God.
