The Songwriters Dream

 I’ve been waiting forty years and I’ve wrote a song or two

Now I have a dream to make an album of what I do

Seems I’ve always had this dream every since I was a lad .

getting help to make this happen is what I’ve never had .

So with thousands of songs to choose from , where do I begin

It seems that my dreams are something no one else believes in .

There are some who promised to hep me but they never do

and others just want to prevent my dream from coming true

I know I need some money for resources to record

But that is the handicap and something I can’t afford

Why do people like to walk over other peoples dreams

maybe they’re just jealous and pitiful human beings .

There’s just never enough love for people like me and you.

There’s never enough dreamers In this life we’re going through .

I believe in love and one day I hope my dream comes true

and I can make an album of my little songs for you .
