Stoney Broke Again

I paid all the debts that I had

and some more I had to add,

with just a little left like the victim of a theft,

I walked away and muttered underneath my breath.

Stoney broke again , shame shame  shame,

There is no excuse , I’m the one to blame.

I took all my money and threw it all away

that’s the reason why I’m Stoney broke today .‘

Tried to buy a little time

And thought everything was fine,

but all my time ran out like some water from a spout

and all of my pockets had been left turned inside out .

Stoney broke again , shame shame shame .

without a penny left to my name .

chasing after money that really wasn’t mine ,

took me to the cleaners in such a short time ..
