You don’t need to be clever and wise ,

to see things that no one understands .

You can’t hold on to the edge of your soul ,

when your life’s slipping through your hands .

It won’t happen when the test of time ,

falls between a generation gap .

There have been too many lost graduations

looking for a student’s cap .

The truth unfolds though the mind body and soul

with inspirations we hold .

The general rule is , water the seed ,

and turn the wheel of life into gold .

Live our lives as best we can

and make some hay as long as the sun will shine ..

We learn through experience and some common sense

to pass the test of time .
