This Thing About Cheese

She kept calling out after him but he just walked out the door ,

For a moment the world just stopped and she fell to the floor ,

Suddenly he returned and apologised to her

He said I’m sorry I short changed you I owe you a dollar more .

She said ,that’s not the problem that I’m having a moan

It’s…where’s the extra cheese that I ordered on the phone.

Nobody understands I’ve got this thing about cheese,

So do me a favour and bring me some extra cheese please.

Oh…Better cheddar, Gouda, mozzarella Camembert,

Parmesan or Fetta, even Cottage if its there .

Blue Vein , Swiss or Edam , or ricotta on a plate

Gimmie gimmie gimmie, for me all cheese is great

The desperation In her eyes began to tell the tale

Of a cheese-less woman on her knees slightly way off the rail

He tried to smiled at her but felt so helpless there

He promised that he would send her some extra cheese in the mail

She said , thanks for your trouble , I’ll be hanging out for that

I’m not choosey at all just give me what you’ve got .
