The Wall Behind The Old Church Gate

It was there about this time last year when her ashes where left

In a wall on the other side of a gate at an old church lost in time .

I visited there today and I spoke to her as if she was still with me and in

the breeze I began to recite to her  a rhyme .

Like a preacher in front of a congregation I felt as if there were others there

listening to the words as if they could relate  .

Then before I left I said hello and not  goodbye there ,

 for on another day,  I will return to that place behind the old church gate
