Walls

A wall is there to keep us safe

from those who would try to get in , 

it’s also a place of shelter

from  the sea and the raging wind .

A wall is something you can’t get through

no matter how hard you try ,

it divides the tribes on opposite sides

who can’t see eye to eye.

Walls are place’s for graffiti

and works of art for all to see,

they’re also places for executions 

through times in history .

Walls are built and pulled down as well

whenever that moment should be .

Walls are those invisible barriers 

when people disagree .
