Got To Get On

Got to get on to make the whole thing work ,

a little bit of compromise won’t hurt .

See how it is on the other side .

Sometimes you’ve  got  to swallow your pride .

Got to get on before we fade away ,

tomorrows too late if we’re gone .

So while we still have time ,

lets lay it on the line

and somehow find a way to get along   .

Got to get on together me and you ,

every now and then a little smile would do ,

share a friendly word and look me in the eye ,

so come on  what do you say ,

let’s give it a try .

Got to get on before we fade away ,

tomorrows too late if we’re gone .

So while we still have time ,

lets lay it on the line

and somehow find a way to get along   .

Go to get on before it’s too late,

there’s a potential here for something  great ,

so if you push ,  I’ll  pull

and we’ll get there in the end ,

its much easier

when you’re working  with a friend  .
