Quarry boys make some noise ,

blasting rocks as the clocks tick away .

Isolate on the date ,

when and where who is there on the day

Things to fix as time ticks,

overtime in the mine double pay .

On the site day and night

climbing stairs for repairs here and there .

Broken belts , in the swelts

By the kiln overspilling everywhere .

As the mill overspills

crushing lime as the time ticks away .

Shut it down, there’s no sound.

No more rush as the hush  ticks away .

Hear the tick of the clock

Its ok let the day tick away .

Tick away , its ok

Let the day tick away  its ok.
