You made time to see me when I needed you too

and you gave me attention when I spoke to you .

Something in your laugh and in your smile, I could tell   

that you were stressed but you always hide it so well .

I am so grateful  for you and always will be

respectful of your natural ability.

There’s a sign on my heart that says , this is for you ,   

It’s there because I know you won’t break it in two .

This is for you , beautiful you , with all my love .  

This is for you cause you’re the one I’m thinking of  

Life is such a short distance between here and there

but as you walked there with me,  I knew that you cared .

I think of the times when I was finding a way

to tell you that I love you and what I should say .

I know in my heart there is a love strong and true

and its a place that’s reserved and belongs to you .
