" Taxi "

I took a taxi through Time, to where it all began,
I said to the driver " drive as fast as you can "
" First" he said " can I pick up my wife? "
"Be prepared" I said, "for the ride of your life".

So we went in sixth gear in slow ascension
Towards the end of it all, in the fourth dimension
"This is quaint" said his wife in quiet surprise,
As we passed through a galaxy without shape or
size

We crossed a hundred suns in a glorious blaze,
Each minute that went by,equalled a thousand days
Planets flew by at the speed of light,
"I like this eclipse",the driver said with delight

We followed the trail of a shooting star,
Floating thriough space in this fantastic car,
Returning to Earth through a black hole at three,
Just in time to get home for tea.
