Omnipresent Darkness chapter 2 (the doorway)

Jonathan then accesses the camera’s remote access menu and activates the camcorder, almost immediately the creature races toward the screen and both men hear a disembodied hideous voice scream, ‘The doorway is re-opened!’ the words almost garbled incoherent, but oddly articulate and familiar, at the very same moment the creature moves across covering the entire screen its disfigured features now clearly visible, its eyes although still burning like like fire, now also radiate an evil malevolence, and its expression is almost joyful if something so viol can be blissful. Now apparently studying the camera lens, and with total disregard for the fact it is looking into a lens and not a doorway the creature begins to lean into the camera almost like it is trying to enter the camera lens, it then appears to reach out and grab the sides of the laptop screen, almost like it is attempting to pull itself through the screen from the cold darkness of its plain into our world.

The two men stand like statures transfixed by this anomalous vision, suddenly the screen of the laptop moves slightly, David amazed by what he is witnessing learns closure to the screen to get a better view, without warning one of the large heavy hands, lets go of the side and actually reaches out from the laptop leaving the screen and with lightening speed it grabs David by the top of his head with a hand so big it almost covers his head to the extent Jonathan could not see any of David’s hair, its long muscular fingers searching for its optimal position on finding sufficient grip the creatures fingers begin to press into his skull, almost immediately and with a blood curdling cracking sound David’s skull splinters under the immense pressure and almost explodes.
