Bits and Pieces

Lately it has been hard to find any inspiration to do pretty much
anything. I can't seem to write anything similar to the whirls of
feelings and emotions that are constantly taking me over. So instead, I
have come up with some little bits and pieces, they don't seem to fit
together but what the hell:

A while ago
I lost myself
In all my lies
Retrace my steps

The emptiness of my soul
Makes it impossible
To write anything meaningful

I have a voice
It is weak and uncertain now
But give it time

Smart and charming
Great sense of humor
What a catch
Why can't I make myself
Fall in love?

It is hard to put on paper
The thoughts that shred my soul

The world continues to turn
On me
