When you enter Honey Creek, the wind brushes against your shoulder and the smell of familiarity warms your soul. The animals are not afraid to be seen. Life is there and is ready to be taken. The chapel is surrounded by trees, Spanish moss, and the creek behind it. When the sun comes in the morning the light touches the chapel just right and it makes the room light up with love.
The trees provide shelter and a way to see the clouds. When you lie on your back in the soft, green grass and look at the sky, the trees form pictures and you are always relaxed. Honey Creek is a place you can be yourself and be loved without having to prove anything to anybody. Where you sleep is covered with a roof, walls, a floor, and restrooms. Your bed is filled with your sleeping bag or your sheets. You’re woken by the birds chirping at the sun. When you walk outside the sweet melody of the birds chirping automatically puts you in a good mood. Looking at the rippling creek, you can hear the water moving. If you walk all around Honey Creek, it would take about two hours, but it would be worth it. The breeze helps the trees talk to you and they say beautiful things, all you have to do is close your eyes and listen and you will hear it. When the day is almost over, the trees quiet down, and the crickets sing their song for you, so you would be ready to go to sleep. When you close your eyes and rest your head on your pillow, you fall into a deep sleep and nothing can wake you. Honey Creek is a place to wash all your troubles away. The sun takes away the troubles and the moon shows the light to a brighter life.
