When the heart has been readied, I know they will come
Jung opened the window, a scarbaeid flew in.
Since I boxed away the things you left behind, you no longer haunt me....

In the rank and file of this deaf-blinded world
How long can I wait, how loud can we shout?
A decibel above a hundred million degrees
They will burn in the hubris of nuclear fire.
 
One day I stood by the sacristy door and
Told a prelate as he unrobed
The exactness of tomorrow - you know I can see.
Ci sarà uno sciopero nucleare in quattro città in questo paese.
I do not understand these words yet either.

don't penetrate it all:  don't recognize scarbaeid, or know the Latin. yet, your poem communicates, heavy with atmosphere, and feeling, lines staged for the reader to feel the drama, the gravity. i like your poem, without explication.
