ONE NIL DOWN
PROLOGUE
Everybody holds within their imagination a picture of inner city decay, an area from an age old era living in the modern day with different moral codes.
People within these areas clamouring to get out. People on the outside looking in with distain, saying prayers of thanks to their Gods for the social standing they have attained, often with a sideline request for further advancement.
People and places taken on face value.
For a moment take stock.
What would it take? Your darkest secret uncovered, a wrong decision or cutback at work, a false accusation from a colleague or friend, a demotion or the loss of your job?
How little for you to become undesirable amongst your peers?
It has become socially acceptable for the self proclaimed elite to sit in judgement of amongst others the unemployed, homeless and downtrodden. Applying facts to fit preconceived conclusions.
Many deserve the hand fate has dealt them.
On the other hand many people start life One Nil Down.
