Evil plans frustrated

(based on David’s testimony when fleeing from Absiolom’s rebellion as in Psalm 3)
They say God is not helping me – I trust.
They think that they have vanquished me – and thrust
their sneers, and act rebelliously – God must
work out His sovereign will, so sure and just.
One day we’ll see how often God did thwart
the evil schemes of evil men, who fought
against God’s people and His plans – God brought
their pride, malicious deeds of hate to nought.
Their fangs, sharp teeth, oft broken, lose their power
to do their piercing evil and devour,
And so we pray, know they’ll not fully cower
until the Judge returns – the final judgement hour.
“you break the teeth of the wicked" Psalm 3:7

Narnia
Love the picture – Aslan. I'm reading the Narnia books again I hope Disney makes the other four films too they've done the first three. Problem is that teenagers grow up so fast – actors – characters in the stories but can't stay children!
Excellent poem Rhiannon but I find it rather complicated. Serious stuff.
Have a good week & Nolan
